They say the best things in life are free- I've come to realise this is a true and worthy saying. I'd like to add and say, "the best things in life are free or created" . When we were a lot younger, we used to create a lot of stuff, but now we have grown older and keep searching for stuff. We run around looking for opportunities, when we can so easily create one for ourselves. We work so hard to earn a living, when we can have a good living with the basics of life. These basics of life, I've learnt that we learnt them long time ago, in Kindergarten. Unfortunately, a lot of us have forgotten these important things in life and have now been carried away with what we call 'the harsh reality of life'.
As adults, we focus on money, the past, the future, wealth, status and the likes. We've forgotten and got no time for important things like love, kindness, or manners learnt in kindergarten poems. We've forgotten how to add 1 and 2 together; we seem also to have forgotten how to read between the lines, and spell things out. We stick to rules, but have forgotten principles. A lot of us can't even understand the world's traffic signals- we think because we've been stopped now by a big red man, that we can never see the green man again, so we never get ready to move forward and miss tones of opportunities in life.
Since we've learnt to all speak well, it seems we've failed to listen. Since we've learnt to stand, walk, run, and for some of us learnt how to fly,we've failed to seek support or hold hands. We are Adults! and we've now all forgotten the basic lessons of life.
In my 3 Decades of living, I've learnt what's most important are the things I've learnt many years ago- lessons I learnt in Kindergarten, but had forgotten. If we are to make our lives any easier or better, we have to go back to the basics, and learn as children again. We need to become children , and see the world in a whole new perspective. In my 30 years of living, I've learnt that all I need to know about life, I learnt in Kindergarten. It all boils down to the basics -be Kind, Smile, Hold hands, Love, Play, Listen, and most importantly, Look!.
If you can read between the lines, in this Blog Book; Look! you would have found some answers you are looking for in my 3 Decades and a Life of experience.
